Efrain Gonzalez Jr. was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston, and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law, graduating near the top of his class. Efrain excelled in trial advocacy at South Texas, known for the nationally renowned advocacy program, winning a best speaker award in competition. He also excelled academically, being awarded the highest academic score in both Aviation Law and Products Liability, and was repeatedly on the Dean's Honors List. During his law school tenure, Efrain also had the opportunity to work for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas, and the Harris County District Attorney's Office.

 

Efrain's litigation skills shined from the onset of his career, as he won his first jury trial as lead counsel within his first year of practice. Prior to launching his practice, Efrain was a litigation attorney at a Texas based litigation firm and an Am Law 200 national law firm, gaining direct experience in representing a range of clients, from individuals to multimillion dollar companies, in litigation.

 

Following his experience of advising and successfully litigating cases as both lead counsel and co-counsel to resolution, ranging from settlements to jury verdicts, he felt compelled to launch his own practice and represent individuals and businesses confronted with legal challenges. His professional experience allows him to provide his clients with the best possible perspective when evaluating their specific legal needs. He concentrates his practice on litigation involving business disputes, real estate, contracts, and general civil matters. Efrain represents a diverse client base, from corporations to individuals. He is experienced in Texas state and Federal courts, and has litigated various matters including breach of contract, fraud, deceptive trade practices, negligence, misrepresentation, civil theft, and select criminal matters. Efrain also embraces the opportunity to advise and assist clients in business transactions, and assessing non-litigation options. 

 

After nearly a decade of practice, Efrain continues to enjoy litigation challenges from inception to resolution, and strives to provide every client with excellent legal representation.
